Zion National Park
Zion is easily one of the coolest, most beautiful places I have been to. Prior to this trip, my hiking experience in the desert was nonexistent. In fact, I am not sure I had ever been to a desert like this one. I was in Zion for about 4 days, so that means I was pretty much in awe for about 4 days straight.

We did several hikes in the park, one of which was the infamous Angels Landing hike. After hours of hiking up switchbacks, we were nearly at the top. All that was left was the narrow path to the top with thousand foot drops on either side and a chain for you to hold on to so you don't fall.
I, who have a great fear of heights, did not do this portion of the trail.
I did, however, do the Narrows with no problem! A great portion of the Narrows trail is through a river in a canyon. It was really cool and really crowded, but well worth it!

The point I decided to stop at Angels Landing

On our last day, we took the car and drove to a different portion of the park called Kolob's Canyon. We had it nearly to ourselves. We drove until we saw a parking lot, parked, and hiked for an amazing sunset view over the desert. It was the perfect way to end a really amazing trip!
